PSC : Public Service Commission

PPSC is the acronym in the form of Public Service Commission. This is the central government which is in charge of managing exams. examsthat will be held for various categories of jobs. Public Service Commission was set in accordance with Article 315-323 315 to 323 of the constitution of India.

For the Union Commission, it is referred to as the Union Public Service Commission which is responsible for conducting exams to be used for the recruitment process into Indian service at the National level as well as the higher levels of Central service. For instance, IAS is an exam that IAS examis held by UPSC each year. The exam is an entry point into Group A and B services.

At the state at the state level, this commission is called it is known as the State Public Service Commission which is a part of to a state, and administers exams to recruit officers for state service and to offer suggestions and guidance to the governor regarding discipline issues. The members of the commission are appointed by Governors.

Its composition for both the State Public Service Commission and the Union Public Service Commission is identical. However, the jurisdiction of the UPSC is significantly greater than that of the State PSC. The UPSC has jurisdiction across the entire nation, while the SPCS's authority is limited to the state.

The PCS exams in different states are referred to by various names, such as Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS) which is administered by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), Kerala Administrative Services (KAS) which is administered through the Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) and Provincial Civil Services (PCS) which is managed through Uttar Pradesh Service Commission (UPPSC) and many more. psc ka full form
