PPSC is the acronym as the Public Service Commission. It's a central administrative body which is in charge of managing all examsthat are conducted for jobs in various categories. Public Service Commission was set up under Article 315 to 323 in the constitution of India.
For the Union Commission, this is known as Union Public Service Commission which is responsible for conducting exams for the purpose of securing Indian services at the national level , as well as more prestigious Central Services. For instance, the IAS examis held by UPSC each year. The exam is an entry point for the Group A and A services.
On the other hand, at the state scale, the commission is known as it is known as the State Public Service Commission that belongs to the state and conducts exams to recruit officers into state services and to offer advice and suggestions to the governor on discipline issues. The members of the commission are appointed through the governor.
The composition of that of State Public Service Commission and the Union Public Service Commission is identical. However, the Jurisdiction of the UPSC is much greater than that of State PSC.
